Use [MULTI CONTROL 2/3] to select the speaker. Use [MULTI CONTROL /5] to set its use or size. Repeat the above operations until all of the speakers have been set up. Speaker Distance ­"SP Distance"­ Sets the distance between each speaker and the listening position. The actual distances should be measured before starting this setup. 1 Select "SP Level". [MULTI CONTROL 2/3] [ENTER] Display "T. TONE Auto" "T. TONE Manu" "T. TONE Off" "Return" Setting The test tone is heard from the speakers one after another with 2 seconds each. You can select the speaker channel from which the test tone is output. · If "AUDIO OUT TV" is selected and the audio is not output or is interfered with by noise, set the audio output of the player component to PCM. · If "AUDIO OUT TV" is selected, adjust the volume on TV. When "HDMI LINK On" is selected, the HDMI indicator on the front panel lights blue. If "HDMI LINK On" is set, proceed to the <Power Control> setup. Power Control Audio Delay (Lip Sync) If the monitored video is delayed in time with respect to the audio from the speakers, the audio output timing can be delayed. This function selects whether or not the power status of this unit is interlocked with the power ON/OFF and start of playback of the connected components. 1 Select "Audio Delay" in <HDMI setup ­"HDMI Setup"­> , . 1 Set the HDMI power control on or off. [MULTI CONTROL /5] [ENTER] Display Setting Turning the TV ON/OFF also turns this unit ON/OFF with an interlocked operation. The power ON/OFF status of this unit is not interlocked with the power ON/OFF status of the TV. 2 Set the HDMI audio delay. [MULTI CONTROL /5] [ENTER] Display "DELAY Auto" "DELAY Manual" "DELAY Off" Setting Corrects the deviation in time between the output audio and video automatically. Allows the user to correct the deviation in time between the output audio and video manually. The deviation in time between the output audio and video is not corrected. "POWER CTRL On" "POWER CTRL Off" If "POWER CTRL On" is set, proceed to the <TV Control> setup. When "DELAY Manual" is selected, use [MULTI CONTROL /5] to select the audio delay time and press [ENTER] to enter the setting. The delay time is adjusted from 0ms to 300ms in 10ms step. · If the TV in use is not compatible with "DELAY Auto", select "DELAY Manual". English 41 HDMI setup TV Control When this setup is "On", the TV can be used to control the functions (including the volume adjustment) of this unit. Locking the setups ­"Setting Lock"­ The setups of this unit can be locked so that they will not be altered by accidental press of keys. 1 Set the HDMI TV control on or off.
