You can either check for updates manually, or have the unit do it automatically at regular intervals. While the HDD/DVD recorder is updating, there may be a disruption in reception for a few hours. The update is not available during recording, Timeshift, viewing digital text or EPG menu. [Freq] Selects the updates interval. (Weekly or Daily) [Start] Updates the software immediately. (software version, DTV Signal Quality and DTV Signal Strength) DTV Diagnostics ­ To assist in locating any problems you may experience, the unit includes DTV diagnostics options. Displaying the favorite program list You can display the favorite channel list which contains your favorite channels. To set a favorite program, use [Program Edit] option in the Setup menu.
