If several options are found in the dictionary for a key sequence (a word), the most frequent one is displayed first. If the word you want is not recognised, the next suggestion from T9 may be correct. Repeat until the correct word is displayed.
Move word by word to the left/right until the required word is highlighted. Deletes the letter to the left of the cursor DQG displays a new possible word.
